The Real Meaning of Spirituality.

The Basics

Finding the Real Meaning of Spirituality!

Many people believe that to be healthy, they need to follow a strict schedule and follow it as long as possible. But that’s not always true. They just need to change their perspective a little and change their outlook on certain aspects of life. What is the difference between spirituality and religiousness? Spirituality is based on the principles of how you choose to live your life. Religiousness has a supreme power with whom you are supposed to obey but spirituality on the other hand ignites from within with a sense of consciousness. In this materialistic and selfish world, people sometimes neglect the fundamentals of life, where they are not only supposed to run after finances but also physical and mental well-being. Mental Health-“Oh, am I a lunatic”, is a common phrase heard by many of us, but in reality, people just overlook the importance of it. And later on, face the consequences of a much bigger issue like getting into a fight in relationships, frustrations and physical illnesses for example psychosomatic disorders, painful responses in the body, headache, indigestion, etc.

 The Emotional Damage

When someone is undergoing trauma, sometimes they lose the complete sense of themselves. They acquire an inheritable setback, taking it with them across their lives. It is very difficult to overcome this, but yet it’s still possible by availing necessary assistance. People these days are always running towards a bigger picture and usually neglecting the small facets of life which are also precious. Many people are becoming insensitive day by day in today’s era which is disheartening due to which it impacts the mental and emotional state of other people and moreover, it suppresses their ability to express themselves.

The overlooked persona

In today’s rat race people are so bothered about running after material possession that they’re ignorant to matters of the mind. Here we have to realise that, what is having a sound mental state is supposed to be? As defined by WHO, Mental health is a state of well-being in which an individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope up with the normal stress of life, can work productively and fruitfully is able to make a contribution to his or her community. When there is a sudden shift of their mood and affect to opposite extremes which is noticeable by themselves or by the surrounding individuals from their previous
acclimatised behavioural patterns.

Let’s Explore an Alternative

As a society, we should strive to advocate mental health on a larger scale so that people are not ignorant about it. Because people suffering rarely seek help and are usually unaware of their condition themselves, we as a community should be inclusive of the people who are lost in their path and should guide them and walk together for a better future.

Here, we are going to reveal the secrets of a happy and fulfilled spiritual life. This doesn’t mean that you have to go to the Himalayas and surrender all your luxuries and pleasures of life. The main trouble of all miseries is to not let things go. People tend to hold themselves to their own cage of thought and become stagnant in their life and refuse to adopt a holistic lifestyle.
